At ethnik, our values guide everything we do. Rooted in authenticity, respect, and human connection, we create with cultural sensitivity, ethical practices, and social responsibility. We celebrate Moroccan craftsmanship, diversity, and collective creativity, ensuring every design honors the people, stories, and traditions that inspire it. By combining transparency, inclusiveness, and sustainability, Ethnik transforms cultural heritage into meaningful, contemporary creations that positively impact artisans, communities, and the environment.
Made in Morocco
Every Ethnik piece is made in Morocco.
We work closely with local artisans and workshops, celebrating traditional savoir-faire while embracing contemporary design. Producing locally allows us to preserve crafts, support the local economy, and ensure each object carries the richness of its origin.
All our creations are proudly 100% made in Morocco.
"When I created ethnik, the very first spark was the idea of making something in Morocco. Because I wanted to honor my culture but also its richness, its craftsmanship, its knowledge, and its authenticity. Everything that makes Morocco what it is."
As we say: Dima Maghreb.
Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of ethnik. Our products are made-to-order to reduce waste and packaged plastic-free, while also supporting local artisans, preserving traditional skills, and creating fair employment. For us, caring for the environment and fostering social impact go hand in hand.
Authenticity
ethnik is all about real encounters and lived experiences.
Our designs are inspired by the people we meet, the places we explore, and the stories that shape Morocco. We value honesty in creation.
Hand-drawn designs
Creativity, for us, starts with drawing.
“ I draw before I think in terms of products. Sketching is how ideas take shape, how memories, encounters, and emotions find their way onto paper. Each design begins by hand, without a fixed outcome, allowing the drawing to evolve naturally. The hand-drawn process keeps the work honest, imperfect, spontaneous, and deeply personal. It’s through this gesture that my designs gain their identity, carrying traces of the moment they were created and the story behind them. “ - Alia Benjelloun , Founder
