Sustainability is at the heart of ethnik. Our products are made-to-order to reduce waste and packaged plastic-free, while also supporting local artisans, preserving traditional skills, and creating fair employment. For us, caring for the environment and fostering social impact go hand in hand.
We produce most of our products on a made-to-order basis. That means minimal stock, minimal returns. In other words, as little waste as possible. We produce in very small batches making. For large orders, there are a minimum quantity order for certain creation to avoid wasting material.
Our paper is always ethically sourced. This means we only work with suppliers who deal with forests that comply with the highest social and environmental standards.
Our production approach supports Morocco’s ambition to improve recycling and transform the waste economy. It is a national effort aiming to increase recovery rates significantly by 2030.
